An Astute Administrator

A seasoned Administrator-with over 15 years of choice experience garnered from various position he held in leading concerns in different sectors of the economy and a top flight manager responsible for driving organizational vision and accounts, a journey of over half of his working life.

Asogwa Ikeje Israel started his education pursuit at the Army Children’s school, Port Harcourt, where he had his first school leaving certificate between 1974 and 1979, and proceeded to Federal Government College Port Harcourt in 1979. In 1984, he obtained his Secondary School Certificate. He also acquired an Advanced Level Certificate from the Federal School of Arts and Science in Aba, Abia Sate in 1986.

To complement the aforementioned academic attainments, Asogwa, an ardent administrator got admitted and graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Hons) Political Science at Anambra State University of Technology in 1986 and 1990; later that same year had his compulsory one year, National Youth Service Corps programme with DUKAL Association as a Client Services Officer.

Having been armed with the professional weapon and technical skills, the youthful Asogwa became a Sales Representative of an ICT equipment at FESTAZE Limited between 1991 and 1993, an office he left with a track record of distinctive performance. Worked for FLASHBERT Ventures Limited as the Human Resources Executive during the period of 1993 through 1995.

Before now, he had worked as a Corporate Affairs Manger in 1995 and 2000 at QUANTUM CLASSICS LIMITED, an office he held with high esteem, his working career also saw him through another yet amiable post as the General Manager, SHELTER CONCEPTS Limited between the period of 2000 and 2003, where he rose to the position of Executive Director, Operations in the same organization in 2003.

As if propelled by divine machinery, Asogwa Ikeje Israel, a one time Gubernatorial Aspirant under the platform of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Enugu State, in 2006, became member transition Committee, Enugu State, during the period of April 2007 and May 2007.

“The sky is the limit” they say, and so these words could not but be attached to the name of man of great intellect, an achiever, Asogwa Ikeje Israel.

Asogwa is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Administrators and a Member of the Enugu State Government Economic team. He won the 2007/2008 excellence housing development award. The Nigerian Institute of Estate Surveyors and Valuers also gave him the prestigious award of excellence for his contributions to the real estate sector. He has also received the international leadership gold award for excellence from African Age.

Presently, Asogwa Ikeje Israel is the managing Director/CEO, Enugu State Housing development Corporation, Enugu, Enugu State, Nigeria.
